Jakarta Barbarians comfortably defeated Metro Indians to set up a clash with Senayan CC to decide who would be the runners-up in Division 1. Aditya Khurana was in prime form for Metro Indians as he ripped through the Barbarians top order. Sabu Joy, then accounted for a couple of the middle-order wickets and at 59 for 6, Jakarta Barbarians were staring down the barrel. Vivek Nair, then, played superbly and through partnerships with Rayan & Desandri he took his side to a competitive 142 for 9.

Kirubasankar was promoted to open the innings and a lot depended on him, if Metro was to chase the total down, but Mohib Hussaini knocked him over early in what turned out to be a knock-out punch. The Barbarians bowling was disciplined and tight and through Metro didn’t lose many wickets, they just couldn’t force the pace and could only muster 110 in 20 overs, even though they had 4 wickets in hand.
