Chaiba Senayan Lions, who were still hunting for their first win, took on Jaguar CC in the last game of the week. Viraj Bhammar resumed where he had left off on Saturday and provided the much needed glue to the Lions batting. He held firm and with support from David Surjit & Vishal Garg, steered the Lions forward in the face of a wickets-storm by Sunil Samtani. Jagdeep Singh however halted the Lions ship towards the end overs with quick wickets.
The Jaguar batting proved feeble against a fired-up Lions bowling attack led by Satheesh Kumar, Ashit Mehta & David Surjit and with the exception of Hanan Khalid & Saulat Abbas, no other batsmen could play an innings of note as Jaguars were bowled out for 123 giving the Lions their first win.
