After being put in to bat, Ceylon CC was building a good partnership through the experience of Gaurav Kapoor (29) & Dihan Silva, when Ashish Khaitan (2/13) struck to get rid of both of them including a first-ball wicket to give him a hat-trick of sorts, across matches. Baba Sivasankaran (32) & Sanjeewa Kumar (24) then, put on some valuable runs to take Ceylon CC to a below-par 150 for 9 wickets in their 35 overs. Abhishek Sharma (2/20) was the other bowling contributor for Indorama. Vishwajit Tripathi (41) got Indorama CC off to a good start till P.K. Noushad (4/23) & Dihan Silva (2/23) decimated the middle order taking 6 wickets in the space of 13 runs. Sandeep Kukkar (30) put up some lower order resistance, but Usman Afridi (4/22) ensured no further jitters as he wrapped up the tail to have Indorama CC 20 runs short of the target.
