Jaguar CC created a minor upset by comfortably beating 3rdplaced Texmoda TKCC Royals in their T20 game at GMIS grounds on Sunday. TKCC lost their openers cheaply after electing to bat first. Maneesh Tripathi & Gorav Pathak started to rebuild post that, but just couldn’t force the pace against some tight bowling by Waqar Ali & Abhay Sharma. They had reached just 44 in the first 10 overs and acceleration was needed. Vishal Garg hit a few big hits, but TKCC could at the end only manage 115 in their 20 overs despite having 7 wickets in hand.

Nitin Sharma, who opened for Jaguar CC, opted for attack as his weapon as he got his team off to a blazing start. TKCC had a small fight back with a few wickets, but Saulat Abbas hit four big 6s to take his team home with plenty of overs in hand.
