A yet to be beaten Senayan CC took on a yet to win Rebels CC in the first T20 of the week at the GMIS cricket ground on Sunday. Rebels lost their openers quickly as David Surjit bowled a miserly opening spell. Vivek Elankannan & Marten Eddy rebuilt the innings but couldn’t force the pace against some tight bowling. Raj Kapadia ended with a 5 wicket haul as Rebels lost 6 wickets in the space of 4 overs to be bowled out for 98 runs.

Senayan CC lost their opener early but after they saw out a fiery spell from Gaurav Tandon, things got easier especially aided by some poor catching. Amar Kapadia rounded off a great day for the Kapadia clan with a pack knock of 41 and some big hitting by Sampath Kumar saw Senayan home with 8 wickets in hand.
