Yadavas Chairos Tigers, the team comprised entirely of Indonesian players, many of whom play for the national team, reclaimed their Division 2 leadership with a huge win over the last placed Rebels CC.
The Rebels opening bowling attack of Owais Parray & Alfhariz struck early and Tigers were 4 down for 27 runs in just the 4th over. The Rebels bowlers kept pegging away and were on top as Tigers went in to drinks at 68 for 7. Arya Pastika stepped up and batted beautifully and his partnerships first with Fernandes Nato and later with Rafki took the Tigers to a strong 141 runs in their 20 overs.
In reply, the Tigers bowling proved too strong for a struggling Rebels batting as Darma Arta led with 4 wickets and support from Fernandes Nato & Frengky Shony helped the Tigers rip out the Rebels for just 50 runs. Julang Dzulfikar was the sole bright spot in the Rebels batting.
