Only pride was at stake in the bottom of the table clash between Ceria Komodos & Challengers Superkings as both teams were looking to end on a winning note. Challengers chose to bat first and their batsmen were soon up against a superb opening spell by Vivek Nair who conceded only 6 runs in his first 3 overs. Vishal Hirgude kept up the pressure and in trying to up the momentum, Challengers conceded wickets to the wily pair of Ashit Mehta & Eki Antaria. Satinder Minhas & Andrew Sandi put on a brief partnership to take their team to 115 in 20 overs.
Eki Antaria looked in good touch and he was joined by Ashish Gupta who took to belting big boundaries as the pair put on a 77 runs stand to guide the Komodos to a comfortable 8 wicket win.
