Emerio CC took on Challengers CC in a crucial game as both teams were fighting to avoid relegation to Division 2. Challengers would have rued their decision to bat first as they were reduced to a paltry 29 for 5 within quick time by the guiles of David, Maneesh & Raunak Kapoor. Satinder Minhas, was Challengers’ lone warrior and with some support from Vimal Mohan, he managed to get his team to 111 in 20 overs.
Despite losing a couple of early wickets, including a JCA league first wicket to Chandroo, a big partnership between Syed Kabir & Saurabh Mehta ensured Emerio breezed to the target in the 14thover itself with 6 wickets in hand.
