Meanwhile in the second game of the weekend, some very wayward bowling from Jaguar CC with extras being the highest scorer, helped Texmoda TKCC Royals extend their winning streak. Subhash Modgil ensured Texmoda started well and the in-form Rajesh Santhanam then kept the innings going in the middle overs. Praveen Uppal took a couple of wickets to create a temporary flutter, but Ajeet Bhatt & Maneesh Tripathi ensured TKCC got to a good score of 201 in their 35 overs.
Hanan Khalid got the Jaguar reply off to a flying start with a quick 48 runs, but Mukesh Khetan pulled things back for TKCC with some good bowling. Abhay Sharma then partnered well with Saulat Abbas & Karanjit Singh to script a Jaguar recovery. With 5 overs to go, Jaguars needed 38 runs but with only 4 wickets in hand. Swaroop Chavan, however, sealed the game for TKCC with the key wicket of Abhay to give side a 26 run win.
