Earlier, Satheesh Kumar bowled brilliantly to rock the Metro Indians top order. Aditya Khurana & Sabu Joy then staged a recovery as Metro set up a 167 run target. Rain reduced the target to 152 and at 42 for 6, Challengers looked out of it. Then followed one of the best knocks in recent times as Srinivasan Govindraj batted brilliantly with Manickavasagan to guide Challengers home with 2 balls and 1 wicket to spare.
