It was an action-packed week in the Advanced Offshore JCA cricket league with 5 games being played and the action was capped off with a brilliant 40 ball hundred by Syed Kabir which featured 11 sixes and 5 fours.
Defending champions Yadavas Chairos Tigers are finding it tough going this season after suffering their second loss, this time to a charged-up GM Jaguar XI in a 40 overs game on Saturday. The Tigers chose to bat first and suffered a double-jolt in the 2nd over itself as Aryan Khan struck twice. Yogi Prastama then anchored the re-building effort from one end but kept losing partners after they had made starts. Aryan Khan & Jagdeep Singh kept chipping away with wickets and the Tigers were bowled out for 188 runs.
Gede Darma Arta continued his fine bowling form with yet another early double-strike and soon the Jaguars were wobbling at 38 for 3. Irshad Birajdar, then, batted sensibly in partnerships with Hanan Khalid & Karanjit Singh to bring the Jaguars right back into contention. Skipper Jagdeep Singh then counter-attacked brilliantly to squash any hopes of a Tigers revival to give the Jaguars a comfortable 4 wicket win.
