Senayan CC took on Emerio CC in the final T20 encounter of the weekend and were in early trouble after having elected to bat first. Viraj Bhammar’s poor form continued as he was trapped in front by Maneesh Dubey and it needed a good 90 run partnership between Amar Kapadia & Chetan Suryawanshi to bring Senayan back into the game. However, quick strikes by Hameer Pratap ensured that Senayan could only manage 122 in their 20 overs.

A rain interruption meant that overs were lost and Emerio CC needed 82 to win in 12 overs. Hameer Pratap & Maneesh Dubey batted sensibly to put on a 40 runs partnership and Emerio were looking on track at 43 in 7 overs. Ashit struck with the crucial wicket of Maneesh but a 17 run over by Narayan meant that only 13 were needed of the last 3 overs. Shaijal Mohammad then bowled a superb 11th over taking 3 wickets and conceding just 1 run and with 6 runs needed to win off the last over, Malay Singh bowled another superb over giving away only 1 run as Emerio fell short by 5 runs.
