SCORECARD

Challengers Metro CC won the toss and chose to bat first against RB United in their T20 game on 30th January at the Cibubur cricket ground.

The CMC openers Sakthi Seelan & Erode Hari were in a punishing mood as they both put on an unbeaten stand of 100 in just 10 overs. Their captain was so pleased with their performance that he asked both of them retire at the drinks break !! presumably to give the other batters some practice.

RB United bowlers Rohit Sharma and Gaurav Tandon fought back after the drinks break with quick wickets but CMC declared when they reached 161 for 4 in the 17th over thanks to some big hitting by Srinivasan.

Sakthi Seelan then opened with the ball also and his double-strike had RB United in trouble at 22 for 3. Rohit Sharma & Josh Van vianen rebuilt with a partnership but Sakthi came back again to account for both of them in one over. Eventually, RB United  could only manage to reach 83 all out in their innings
