The GMIS JCA league resumed after a break for Lebaran and Jakarta Barbarians & Challengers CC recorded wins in their respective T20 games.
Jakarta Barbarians who are still in contention for runners-up position in Division 1, took on WPP India XI who were still looking for their first win of the season. Riaz Hyder & Eki Antaria put on a superb 115 run stand in just 12 overs to setup a strong platform for the Barbarians. Gaurang Kapadia accounted for Eki Antaria and then Rohit Kathana took out a couple more of the Barbarians. However, Riaz Hyder too control & blitzed his way to a brilliant 90 before falling in the last over. His knock ensured a strong total of 194 for his team.
Vivek Nair, bowled superbly in his opening spell to have WPP India XI reeling at 31 for 4 and WPP couldn’t manage to recover from this poor start. Mohib Hussaini & Vivek Singh also chipped away with wickets to bowl out WPP for just 112, and in the process, denying them their first win of the season.
