In another Division 1 game played on Sunday at Cibubur, TKCC beat Emerio comprehensively by 7 wickets. Batting first, Emerio was in all sorts of trouble losing their top 5 batsmen for just 16 runs. However TKCC were too reliant on their duo of Mukesh and Swaroop and their other bowlers took the pressure off the pedal. Manish Dubey with his 69 including 4 sixes took full advantage of some loose bowling. Unfortunately for him there was little help from the other end. Emerio’s final tally of 111 always looked short. TKCC’s new batting hero Ramesh showed his class with his 23 ball 45 including 4 sixes all coming from the meat of the bat, making even the opponents applaud. Mukesh Khetan and Vishal Garg polished off the remaining runs without much ado in their 55 runs unbeaten partnership.
