In a historic first, Yadavas Chairos Tigers claimed the Division 2 title, the first time that a team comprised entirely of Indonesian players has won a JCA Division title. It was also heartening to see the triumph of the team over the individual as different players chipped in at different times to ensure Tigers had a fantastic season with 13 wins in 14 games.

On Saturday they took on Ceylon CC in a must-win game at the Cibubur ground. Muhaddis & Ahmad Ramdoni stepped up when it mattered with a 108 run stand which formed the core platform of the Tigers innings. Anjar Tadarus was the other big contributor as the Tigers piled on a big score of 252 in their 35 overs.

In reply, Ceylon CC fought hard and managed to put together several partnerships but none of them was big enough as they ended up losing wickets in clumps which eventually undermined their cause as they folded for 175 runs. It was a combined effort from the Tigers bowling with everyone contributing while Mufasil, who has had a good season, was the top scorer for Ceylon.
