Jakarta Knight Riders held on to their nerves to overcome a stiff target set by Daehan Super Kings in the second game of the week. Kirubasankar & Vimal Nair were superb as they put on a blistering 109 runs opening stand despite a superb opening spell by the talented Desandri Saputra. Asija struck to send back Kiruba, but Vimal continued to flay the attack and he was looking on course to get the first ton of the tournament, when Anjar Tadarus struck. The Kings would have been very pleased at setting a stiff target of 180 runs.

The Knight Riders skipper Pallav, anchored the reply with a brilliant 63 of just 36 balls and along with Jimmy Bumb got things off to a brilliant start with an opening stand of 83 runs. Durai Mallikarjun castled Pallav and the Riders still needed 80 runs to win in 8 overs. Anjar & Vivek Nair put on a 50 run partnership in just 3 overs to put their team in front. The Super Kings struck back with two wickets which led to an interesting last over. With kust 3 needed in the last over, Santhosh Kumar bowled 4 dot balls to set the nerves tingling, but a brace of the 5thball gave the Riders a very good win.
