The Division 2 leaders, Jaguar CC, had to also fight hard to defeat Ceylon CC in order to stay on top of the points table. Once again, the Ceylon CC top order didn’t do well as Shabbir Hussain struck early. Ceylon then tried to fight back through Baba, Rajeev & Mufasil but Praveen Uppal who has been having a phenomenal run with the ball, took yet another 4 wickets haul to restrict Ceylon to just 122.
Jaguar had to hunt down 123 in just 17 overs after they were docked 3 overs due to slow over rates but an inspired unbeaten 73 by Nitin Sharma ensured that they got to the target with 2 balls & 7 wickets to spare.
