Mavecrics CC traveled to Purwakarta to take on Indorama CC in a 35 overs game on Sunday. Keyur Moradia & NImesh Shah got the Mavecrics off to a solid start with a 50 run opening stand. Srikkanth broke the opening stand and started to make inroads into the Mavecrics middle order with support from Ajay Kumar, but Padmakar Surve played a brilliant, unbeaten knock to guide Mavecrics to a strong score of 169 in their 35 overs.
Nimesh Shah then completely opened up the Indorama batting with a magnificent spell of 5 for 9 in his 7 overs and despite Srikkanth’s fighting 31, Indorama were bowled out for just 91 runs.
