Ceria Komodos clung on narrowly to their lead thanks to a better net run rate as we reach the business end of the Indonesian Cricket League. This weekend saw wins for Daehan Super Kings, Jaguar CC & Chaiba Senayan Lions.
Jakarta Knightriders who had a dream start to the tournament had to regain their winning form after having lost their previous game. They were put in to bat by Jaguar CC and their experiment with a new opening batting combination failed having lost both openers for not much on the board. Mukesh Khetan had bowled restrictive lines and Nitin Asija & skipper Pallav Malhotra had to not only consolidate, but also keep the scoreboard ticking. Sunil Samtani struck with the crucial wicket of Pallav and the 10 men Knightriders side were soon bowled out for just 122 runs.
Nitin Sharma & Mukesh Khetan were murderous in the Jaguar CC reply and they took their side home with 7 overs and all 10 wickets in hand to crush the Knightriders and give them a lot to think about.
