Yadavas Chairos Tigers returned on Sunday to battle Jakarta Knightriders in a crucial game for both sides. Gede Darma Arta got the Tigers off to a flyer as they raced to 50 in the 7thover. Pallav Malhotra then struck with 3 crucial wickets to create a flutter in the Tigers ranks, but Muhaddis played a mature, captains knock once again to control the Tigers innings. He got good support from Keyur Moradia as they raced towards a potentially big total. Desandri returned to bowl well at the death and restrict the Tigers to a score of 162.
A tight opening spell by Kisawa & Darma Arta which included the crucial wicket of Pallav Malhotra got the Tigers off to a great start. Keyur Moradia then put a premature end to a burgeoning partnership between Gema Fajar & Anjar Tadarus to swing the game decisively in the Tigers favor. The Knightriders could only muster up 111 runs in the end.
With just 4 games to go, 6 out of the 8 teams are still in contention for the play-offs in a reflection of a very competitive inaugural ICL.
