K2 Kings put Ceria Komodos in to bat in their second game of the weekend and Syed Kabir started briskly as he went after both the opening bowlers. The introduction of Hameer Pratap & Zahid Hameed changed the complexion of the game as they sparked a mini-collapse. The two Maneesh’s put together a fighting partnership to help the Komodos recover to put up a fighting target of 136 runs.
In reply, a lot of the Kings batsmen made starts, but no one could convert it into bigger scores as the disciplined Komodos bowling kept chipping away with wickets at regular intervals. Maneesh Tripathi was good with the ball as well and in the company of Maxi Koda did most of the damage as K2 Kings could only manage 111 in their 20 overs.
