The Ceria Komodos, who also had 2 games this weekend, took on Jaguar CC in their first game. Rohan Shirodkar & Rajesh Santhanam did well at the top to get the Komodos off to a solid start. Swaroop Chavan then struck with 3 quick dismissals including a run-out to peg things back. Depth & resilience is a feature of the Komodos side this season and they found that in Maneesh Dubey this time as his unbeaten 52 ensured the Komodos bowlers had a total to defend.
Two run-outs early on in their chase and that too of their in-form batsmen Sunil & Nitin Sharma meant that, the Jaguars were off to a rocky start in their chase of 153. The young Maxi Koda & Alfhariz, then combined well with the support of the veteran, Maneesh Tripathi to skittle out Jaguars for just 68.
