Texmoda TKCC Royals, Metro Indians, Rawamangun CC & Indorama CC emerge victorious on a low scoring weekend in the GMIC JCA league.
Metro Indians registered their first win of the season with a comfortable win over WPP India XI in their 35 overs game on Saturday. Santosh Kumar & Vinayak Kurtkoti helped WPP India XI get off to a decent start and things were looking good until Kirubasankar got rid of Vinayak.
Then followed a huge batting collapse as 7 wickets fell for just 45 runs to the bowling of Sabu Joy & Venkatesh Rajendran and WPP India XI were shot out for just 108 runs. Chasing 109 to win always looked comfortable and Kirubasankar’s return to form ensured that Metro Indians reached the target with 8 wickets and 19 overs in hand.
