The Jakarta Barbarians made short work of Menara CC, when it dismissed them for a paltry 38 runs and then came back to score the winning runs in under 10 overs. Choosing to bat first upon winning the toss, Menara CC was never comfortable against the quality opening fast bowling of the Barbarians. Lead by Jared Seiffert and Desandri, Menara CC was all at sea, as they were reduced to 30/6 in 12 overs. They never recovered from there, as the tail didn’t wag too long, to be all out for just 38 runs. Jared took 3 wickets conceding just 7 runs, while Scott Masson took 3/13. Desandri, who took the key wicket of the Menara Skipper, along with Eki Antaria and Jon Baker shared one wicket each.

Despite a spirited bowling effort, lead by its skipper Harish Tiwari ( 2/13), 38 runs was never going to challenge the Barbarians, as it steam-rolled Menara into submission, in under 10 overs, losing 3 wickets.
