Menara CC prevailed in a close game against their condominium rivals, Mavecrics CC. Harish Tiwari was the sole batsman to reach double figures as Rani Sathish, Nimesh Shah & Keyur Moradia tore through the Menara batting to bowl them out for 88 runs.
Chasing small targets can be tricky and Mavecrics were off to a horrendous start as they lost 4 wickets with just 1 run on the board. Pradeep Patnaik in the company of Shashwat Kumar fought back to take Mavecrics to 66 and within striking distance of the target when Harish Tiwari took a superb catch to get rid of Pradeep. The remaining batsman couldn’t force the pace as they managed only 15 runs in 5 overs.
