The second game on Saturday was very different in character as K2 Kings prevailed over Daehan Super Kings (DSK) in an attritional low scorer. DSK got rid of the dangerous Harish Tiwari very early but Hameer Pratap & Julang Dzulfikar, got together to put on a 76 run partnership and K2 Kings were looking all set for a big score at the half-way stage. In the process of trying to up the run rate, the K2 Kings batting unraveled disastrously as 9 wickets fell for just 30 runs as K2 Kings folded for 112 runs. Durai Mallikarjun & Jagan Krishnan were the chief destroyers with 3 wickets apiece.
In reply, DSK kept losing wickets at regular intervals, but good knocks from Pradeep Patnaik & Srinivasan Govindraj along with some wayward bowling kept them in the hunt. At the 14 over mark, DSK would have been the favourites needing to get 40 runs with 6 wickets in hand. A superb spell by Sajid Ali which included the wicket of Srini helped tilt the balance back in K2 Kings favor and two superb overs by Harish Tiwari including a wicket-maiden ensured a 20 run win.
