With just 4 games left in the league stage of the Indonesian Cricket League, Yadavas Archean Tigers & Daehan Smashers have booked their places in the final four. The fight for the remaining two slots is still on with four teams in contention.

Gufran Khan’s fabulous 91 of just 57 balls helped his team Crickingdom Lions, breach the 200 run mark and setup a big win which improved their chances of making it to the playoffs. A boundary of the first ball of the game set the tone for Gufran’s knock as he kept blazing away at one end despite losing partners at regular intervals at the other end. 62 runs came in boundaries and just when he was looking set for a ton, Padmakar Surve knocked over his stumps 9 runs short of what would have been a well deserved hundred.

Amar Kapadia & Sampath Kumar blasted 71 runs of the last 5 overs to register the first double hundred team score in the tournament. The opening bowling pair of David Surjit & Raj Kapadia were frugal in their spells and wickets fell when the Apacs batsmen were forced to take risks. Padmakar Surve fought valiantly with a quick, unbeaten 67 but didn’t get the support needed from the other end as the Warriors fell 60 runs short.
