SCORECARD

Senayan India XI got back to winning ways with a huge 10 wicket win over Warriors CC this saturday in the R.P. Singh Memorial tournament played at Cibubur cricket ground.

Nitin Sharma was in prime hitting form as his 36 of just 22 balls including 21 runs of the 2nd over of the innings helped Warriors CC race to 35 at the end of the 4th over. Muhammad Mehdi had Nitin smartly stumped by Faisal and the complexion of the game changed thereafter. 42 for 0 quickly became 57 for 4 as Amar Kapadia spun his web. Pradeep Patnaik tried to keep one end going but wickets kept falling at regular intervals at the other end.

Eventually, Warriors CC could only manage 103 for 9 in their 20 overs with the six bowlers splitting the wickets between themselves rounding off a superb team bowling effort.

The Senayan India Xi openers Gema Fajar & Santosh Kumar then chased down the runs with 5 overs and all 10 wickets still in hand.
