It was a bowlers day at the GMIS JCA league with two five wicket hauls & a four wicket hauls as Yadavas Chairos Tigers, Indorama CC & Jaguar CC prevailed in low scoring games.

Yadavas Chairos Tigers are on the cusp of creating JCA history by becoming the first Indonesian team to win the league after achieving an unassailable lead atop Division 1. They did this with a comfortable win over Metro Indians in a low scoring 35 overs game.

The Tigers elected to bat first and were off to a poor start losing their opener early to Sakthi Narayanan. The in-form Anjar Tadarus, then, consolidated with help from Ahmad Ramdoni but some good bowling from Senthilvel prevented them getting big scores. Deepak Chand made a dream debut as his five wicket haul ensured that the Tigers were bowled out for a below par score of 166.

Fernandes Nato got rid of the dangerous Kirubasankar very early and then, the prolific Gede Darma Arta ran through the top order to have Metro Indians reeling at 13 for 5. Prabhukaliraj & Deepak Chand batted sensibly to build a recovery as Metro reached 74 for 5 in the 20thover and back on track in the chase. The young Agung Gunawan, however spoilt the Metro plans with 3 quick wickets to bowl them out for 101.
