Crickingdom Lions took on Jaguar Punjab XI in the final game of the weekend and the Lions learnt from the other games of the week and wisely decided to bowl first. The Jaguar openers Hanan Khalid & Nitin Sharma were solid as they laid a good platform for their side to build on. But the quest for acceleration led to wickets as the spinners Amar Kapadia & Gamantika benefited. Sampath Kumar & Suhail Modak also bowled well as the Jaguars lost their last 8 wickets for just 35 runs in what turned out to be a low scoring weekend.
The Lions lost their openers cheaply but Gamantika played a sublime unbeaten knock of 67 studded with 11 boundaries to guide the Lions to the target of 129 with 4 overs still to spare.
