With six games already played in the Indonesian Cricket League, Daehan Smashers are the only unbeaten team with two wins. It was a mixed bag this weekend for Ceria Komodos & Crickingdom Lions who each won one of their two games.
Crickingdom Lions took on Challengers Super Kings in the first game of this weekend. Nimesh Shah had the Lions in deep trouble with two wickets in the first over of the game. Gamantika then helped the Lions rebuild with a good partnership with Viraj Bhammar but Sujeet Ramgir got rid of him just when he was starting to look dangerous. Suhail Modak & Gufran put on some crucial runs in the final overs and CSK needed 146 to win.
David Surjit & Raj Kapadia bowled very tight opening spells and CSK could only manage 46 for 2 in the first ten overs. Needing almost 10 runs an over, Ranjan Shankar tried to up the ante but in the end CSK could only manage 125 in their 20 overs despite having 7 wickets in hand.
