Yadavas WISCI Tigers skipper Muhaddis won the toss and after choosing to bat first got his team off to a blazing first. But he fell in the 4th over to Waqar Ali and this allowed Warriors CC to claw things back as they restricted the Tigers to 67 for 2 at the end of 10 overs.
Anjar Tadarus & Darma Arta got together with a 62 run stand for the 3rd wicket and Ramdoni hit a few big hits towards the end to take Tigers to a slightly above par score of 163 for 6 in their 20 overs. Waqar Ali (3/22) & Karanjit Singh (1/26) were the best bowlers of the day for Warriors CC.
Warriors CC got off to a steady chase aided by some very wayward bowling from the Tigers as 15 wides were conceded within the first 5 overs. Yashpal Rathore & Karanjit Singh had helped set up a decent platform reaching 54 for 1 at the end of 9 overs. Gamantika’s introduction into the bowling however changed the game on its head as his 5 for 8 runs in 3 overs had the Warriors reeling at 80 for 7. Nitin Sharma got a few runs towards the end but the Warriors folded 51 runs short of the target in the 20th over.
