Yadavas Chairos Tigers managed to hang on to their leadership position in Division 1 with a hard-fought win over Texmoda TKCC Royals in a T20 game on Sunday. The pattern of difficulty in quick scoring panned out in this game also and TKCC, despite having lost only 1 wicket could only manage 49 in the first 11 overs as Gede Darma Arta and Fernandes Nato kept things tight. Rajesh Santhanam & Mukesh Khetan brought back some urgency into the batting and were looking dangerous when Anjar Tadarus accounted for both of them. Fernandes Nato struck with two more wickets and TKCC could only muster up 115 in their 20 overs.

TKCC were right back in the game when Mukesh Khetan’s double strike after Swaroop Chavan’s wicket of Anjar Tadarus meant that the Tigers were in trouble at 14 for 3. Skipper Muhaddis then partnered with Ahmad Ramdoni to script a revival and were looking in control of the chase when two smart stumpings by Rajesh off the bowling of Vishal Garg brought TKCC back into the game. Elvidus Ikun hit a few big blows and Fernandes Nato & Agung held their nerves to take the Tigers home with 3 wickets in hand.
