Meanwhile at Cibubur, CeylonCC ended their season on a high when they defeated table toppers JaguarsCC by 71 runs in a Division 2 game. Opting to bat first, CeylonCC, started badly when they lost 2 quick wickets to the swing bowling of Dhimanshu. However a fine partnership between hard hitting batsman Mufassil (56 runs) and Gaurav Kapoor steadied the ship, before some lusty hitting by veteran Dihan Silva (61 off 44 balls) in the end helped Ceylon finish on a healthy score of 190/7 off 35 overs. Dhimanshu finished with figures of 4/25.In response, the Jaguars too started by losing its opener cheaply before Dhimanshu took charge with a fine innings of 63 that came off just 55 balls, that helped them reach 72/1 in 12 overs. However the introduction of Riaz Ur Rahman (Faheem) paid immediate dividends as he ran amok with some accurate bowling to return with his best figures of 5/10 to reduce Jaguars to 115/7 after 24 overs. Skipper Sabry Salahudeen, who did not have much luck with the ball earlier, thanks to some sloppy fielding, brought himself back on to polish off the tail with 2/15 to have Jaguars all-out for a paltry 119 runs.
