Rawamangun Indorama CC (RIC) chose to bat first after winning the toss and the prolific Eki Antaria walked in to open the innings with a new partner, Eggi Id Randi. Both of them chose to bat cautiously and mainly score through singles as only 3 boundaries were hit in the first 10 overs which RIC finished at 56 for no loss. The platform was built for acceleration to follow in the second half, but the two openers decided to delay that surge till later as the score reached 94 for 1 at the end of the 15th over with Eggi succumbing to Karanjit Singh after a 88 run stand.
Eki decided to accelerate in the 17th over with a couple of 6s but also lost his wicket to Ahmad Abbas Khan in that over which fetched RIC much needed 16 runs. Repen Desnika & Md Aziz added 31 off the last 3 overs to take RIC to a par score of 147 for 2 in their 20 overs.
Desandri accounted for the dangerous Hanan Khalid in the very first over of the chase and the Warriors could only manage 24 for 2 at the end of the 6 over power play. Nitin Sharma & Gorla Satyanarayana rebuilt the innings well with a 50 run stand but Eki Antaria broke this budding partnership and followed up with the wicket of Karanjit Singh to squash the Warriors hopes. They could manage to eventually score only 118 runs in their twenty overs giving RIC a comfortable 29 run win.
