The benefit of more match experience helped Yadavas WISCI Tigers comfortably win the All Indonesian derby against Rawamangun Indorama CC (RIC) in the first game of this weekend in the R.P. Singh Memorial cup played at the picturesque Cibubur Cricket Ground
The Tigers won the toss and were quickly into the action as their opening bowlers Gede Darma Arta & Muhammad Raihan made early inroads to have RIC struggling at 10 for 3. This meant that Eki Antaria & Repen Desnika were once again into re-construction mode as their 54 run stand helped set a platform for acceleration in the later overs. This charge never came about as Gamantika accounted for the prolific Eki and Anjar took 2 wickets in his 3rd over to reduce RIC to 70 for 7. Eventually, Rawamangun Indorama CC were bundled out for just 82 runs, clearly needing to introspect on how to get the middle-order to contribute more in future games.
The Tigers wanted to finish the game off early and despite losing their openers, reached the target with 8 overs and 8 wickets in hand on the back of Darma Arta’s sensible unbeaten 31.
