The Cibubur Cricket ground went into Nostalgia mode as two of its veterans shone with the ball including a new JCA record of most hat-tricks by one player when Dhiraj Nagpal trapped Amila Sayaan in front to claim a unique hat-trick of hat-tricks after having got hat-tricks in 2004 and 2012 seasons.

Earlier, the Senayan India XI innings started in a familiar fashion with them losing their openers early after they were asked to bat first by MCC with both wickets falling to Sanjeewa Senanayake. Skipper Syed Kabir once again got into rebuilding mode this time in the company of Farid Ahmad as they put on a breezy 80 runs stand in just 8 overs for the 4th wicket. Sampath Kumar then upped the ante with a quick-fire 21 of just 9 balls and Syed Kabir kept up the pace with a few big hits of his own to take Senayan India XI to a huge score of 185 for 8 in their twenty overs.

MCC needed a strong platform to chase down such a huge score but two wickets in the 6th over meant that they had a lot to do being 41 for 3 at the end of the power play. Sawan Malik & Mubeen started to rebuild the innings but then were hit by the record-breaking over from Dhiraj Nagpal. 3 different forms of dismissals accounted for 3 wickets of the first 3 balls of his second over as MCC collapsed to 63 for 6. Roney Sahayanathan & Sawan Malik kept up the fight putting on a 53 run stand but the asking rate of close to 17 was going to be always difficult and Senayan India XI won by a 40 run margin.
