David Sur’e’jit’s superb spell helps the ‘Goliath’ Emerio Dragons beat the ‘David’- JCA President’s XI in their T20 game

A strong Emerio Dragons took on the experimental side of JCA President’s XI in a David vs Goliath battle on Saturday. Some good bowling by Waqar Ali & Poonam Bumb with support from Abhishek Khurana got the President’s XI off to a good start, but a few lusty blows by Maneesh Dubey and some delightful hammering by Viraj Bhammar ensured the Dragons had enough on the board eventually. Skipper David Surjit, then, bowled a dream spell of 3 wickets for 4 runs (in 4 overs) to knock out the top of the President’s XI side. Waqar Ali then muscled a few big sixes, but 156 proved too big a score for the inexperienced President’s XI batting side and the Dragons won easily at the end.
