At Karawachi, Barbarians easily prevailed over TKCC. Under testing conditions, TKCC won the toss and elected to field. Barbs kept the score board ticking with Ben Burgess and Pradhan despite losing Bruny early. They really stepped it up with Vivek Nair smashing the TKCC bowlers to all parts of the ground in a scorching 40 of 24 balls. He was ably supported by Ali and Hussaini. Mukesh Khetan took 3/24 and Rajesh 2/39 but the other bowlers leaked too many runs including 24 wides. Once they had allowed Barbarians to put up 212/8 TKCC was always going to find it tough. TKCC started cautiously with a 52 runs partnership between Suren and Jimmy but then Ben scalped their top order taking the vital wickets of Suren, Mukesh and Rajesh
