Baba Sivasankaran batted superbly as Ceylon CC overcame a fighting Rawamangun CC to win their last game of the season. While wickets fell at other end, Baba Sivasankaran stood tall as he peppered the fence with 14 boundaries on the way to a brilliant 90. Justin Matthew Biji also joined in the action as Ceylon CC finished on 196. Rizky Nugraha & Aditya Gustama were the pick of Rawamangun CC’s bowlers sharing 7 wickets between them.
The Rawamangun CC chase didn’t start well as they lost both their openers cheaply. Riski Sanjaya then batted with a lot of maturity eschewing risks as he rebuilt the innings with support from Repan Desnika. RCC needed 73 runs in the last 13 overs with 6 wickets in hand and were definitely in with a chance. However, Shubham Patni bowled a crucial 24thover where he accounted for both Riski Sanjaya & Andrew Sandi to swing the match decisively in Ceylon CC’s favor.
