SCORECARD

RB United won the toss and chose to bat first against Rawamangun Indorama CC in the T20 game played at Senayan Cricket ground as part of the R. P. Singh memorial cup on 18th December. Anwesh Bose capitalized on Desandri’s erring lengths in the first over which went for 17 runs. But that blitz was short-lived as RICC fought back with quick wickets including two in Desandri’s second over which meant that RB United were struggling at 41 for 4 after 6 overs.

Gaurav Sharma controlled one end and he found a partner in Prashant as they re-consolidated with a 35 run stand but it came at a slow pace against some very tight bowling by Rizky Nugraha, Ardan Saputra & Eki Antaria. Eventually, RB United could only manage 107/7 in their 20 overs which would be well below par especially on the high scoring Senayan Cricket ground.

The below par nature of the target became evident very soon as the RICC openers Anugrah Uga & Eki Antaria took full toll of the short deliveries to 66 for no loss in just 6 overs. Uga got to his fifty and eventually fell for a very well compiled 60 and a 105 run opening stand and RICC romped home with 9 overs and 9 wickets in hand
