Mukesh Khetan got rid of the Apacs Warriors openers cheaply after TKCC Royals had inserted the Warriors into bat first. Ajay Kurtkoti & Padmakar Surve then put on a solid partnership of 87 runs which helped Apacs Warriors finish on 160 runs in their 20 overs. Gema Fajar & Siddesh started the TKCC reply strongly with a 50 run opening stand. But the acceleration needed never came about as the Apacs Warriors bowlers kept things tight and eventually TKCC could only manage 113 runs in their 20 overs despite having 6 wickets in hand.
