Yadavas Chairos Tigers elected to bat first against Challengers CC in their second game of the weekend, and the experienced duo of Muhaddis & Anjar Tadarus combined beautifully to take the Tigers to 109 for 1 when Muhaddis fell to Vimal Mohan. Gamantika, then took over and upped the ante giving the Tigers a huge first innings score of 183 for 4. Satheesh Kumar was the pick of the Challengers bowlers taking 2 for just 18 in his 4 overs.
Gowtham Rajaram batted well to provide the anchorage for the Challengers reply and despite losing partners regularly, he managed to take them to 71 for 3 at the half-way mark. Ahmad Raihan, had a truly memorable debut, taking five wickets for just 14 runs as he scythed his way through the Challengers middle order bundling them all out for just 129 runs despite some fight by Srini Govindaraj & Manickavasagan.
