Rain did play spoilsport with one of the four games this weekend getting washed out in the Advanced Offshore JCA League. Defending champions Yadavas Chairos Tigers, BLPL Mavecrics & Ceylon CC registered comfortable wins in the remaining 3 games.

Menara CC elected to bat first against Yadavas Chairos Tigers after a wet outfield had led to the game being shortened to a 30 overs affair. The Tigers opening bowlers Gede Darma Arta & Fernando Banunaek made use of helpful conditions to have Menara struggling at 23 for 3. Spin in the form of Gamantika then compounded the Menara woes as two more wickets fell and half their side were back in the shed with just 31 runs on the board.

Iruthayaraj & Faheem Butt tried to pull things back, but the Tigers kept up the pressure to bowl Menara out for just 93 runs. Agung Gunawan then controlled the chase very well along with Anjar Tadarus to take the Tigers home in just the 14th over and with 9 wickets in hand.
