A spirited & disciplined bowling & fielding performance by Emerio CC helped them upset Rebels CC in a low scoring 35 overs game played at Cibubur. Cameron Knox started things off with a four of the first ball he faced and timed the next ball brilliantly only for it to be interrupted by a brilliant catch at short point, the first of many good catches taken by Emerio. Disciplined bowling then followed with hardly any extras and stump to stump lines that made run-scoring very difficult for Rebels. Marten Eddy decided to play an anchor role batting out almost 23 overs, but he didn’t get much support from anyone else. The entire Emerio bowling unit was disciplined with almost all bowlers going at less than 3 runs an over. Rebels were bowled out for a paltry 89 in the 34thover.

In reply, Raunak Kapoor, Palwinder Singh & Harshal Kulkarni played sensibly to see out the threat from Alfhariz and Gaurav Tandon while Rachin Kumar hit a few crucial boundaries as Emerio CC got home with 4 wickets in hand to earn a well-deserved win.
