The second T20 game of the week was played between Jakarta Barbarians & Senayan CC and Viraj Bhammar was in fine attacking form after Senayan was put in to bat. He dominated in the 50 run opening stand, but Jakarta Barbarians fought back with 3 quick wickets as Senayan went into the drinks break at 88 for 3. Syed Kabir & Amar Kapadia put on a fine 49 runs stand for the 4thwicket and a few lusty blows at the end ensured Senayan finished on 171 for 5 in their 20 overs.
The Jakarta Barbarians reply got off to a poor start with their in-form batsmen Eki Antaria & Ben Burgess falling early. Riaz Hyder then tried to resurrect the Barbarians reply but just couldn’t force the pace in the face of some disciplined bowling by Senayan CC led by David Surjit & Maneesh Dubey. Vivek Nair managed to break the deadlock but, he had too much to do with 84 runs needed in the last 5 overs. Eventually, Barbarians could only manage 136 in their 20 overs.
