Menara CC took on the yet to be defeated Rawamangun CC in a 35 overs game in Cibubur on Sunday. Rizky Nugraha got rid of the Menara openers cheaply but a good partnership between Muhammad Mubeen & Raza Baig got Menara back into the game. Muhammad Aziz then got Rawamangun CC right back into the game with a hand in the next 6 dismissals with two run-outs, three wickets & a catch. Menara CC folded for just 105 runs in the 23rdover.
Rawamangun CC would have definitely fancied their chances to chase down 106 at the half-way stage. They also lost their openers early on in the chase and when Riski Sanjaya was run-out attempting a risky single, the chase was in trouble. Iruthayaraj struck again with two crucial blows to keep up the pressure. The experienced Yeri Rosongna fell to Kartik Kapoor and when the frugal Zaheed Hameed (2 for 7 in 6 overs) got rid of the dangerous Agi Saptiazi, Menara CC had managed to successfully defend a low score.
