Metro Indians were clearly still smarting from their loss last weekend to Challengers CC as they were clearly pumped up. They struck with a run-out off the first ball of the game and Venkatesh Rajendran struck twice with the ball as Emerio CC were soon 34 for 4. The ever reliable Hameer Pratap & Maneesh Dubey helped Emerio recover briefly, but Sabu Joy & Palanivel ensured that the recovery was brief as Emerio were bowled out for just 112.
Skipper Prabhukaliraj, then played a breezy knock of 49 to ensure Metro Indians won comfortably with 8 wickets in hand.
