Challengers CC took on KSB- TKCC Royals in the second 40 overs game of the week and TKCC were off to a weak start at 22 for 2 after electing to bat first. Hariharasudhan continued his good form with the ball and kept chipping away. Rajesh Santhanam and Gaurav Pathak were the only batsmen who showed some fight and TKCC were bowled out for 166.
The Challengers reply was a testament to the value of teamwork as almost all batsmen chipped in with knocks of 20 plus scores and despite some tight spells by Mukesh Khetan & Maneesh Tripathi, TKCC couldn’t prevent Challengers getting home with 3 wickets in hand.
